Lismullin Institute promotes a variety of activities - conferences, seminars, courses, retreats - which reflect a Christian outlook on life and culture. Inspired by the message of Opus Dei that everything in life can be a path to find God, Lismullin Institute aims to do this by organising activities which help each person discover the Christian meaning of their profession and their daily life.
Thousands of people have attended activities at Lismullin Conference Centre since its beginnings in 1964. They have helped people of all walks of life to learn the ethical dimensions of their profession, to meet other people who try to make an impact in this world through their profession and ordinary life, and see the deeper meaning of God in their life.
Many of the events Lismullin Institute organises take place in Lismullin Conference Centre. Activities at Lismullin provide participants with the opportunity to focus and reflect on a wide range of issues from ethical and moral issues in the workplace to family and life relationships at home. Residential spiritual retreats and workshops in philosophy and theology are also a strong feature of the Lismullin annual calendar. All activities organised by Lismullin Institute are open to people of all creeds and backgrounds.
Lismullin Institute is a business name of Fiuntas Centres Limited, a limited company which is recognised by the Revenue Commissioners as a body established for charitable purposes.
