Dr Miguel Ángel Ariño is professor and head of the Managerial Decision Sciences Department at IESE Business School. He received his PhD in Mathematics from the Universitat de Barcelona, and has taught at the Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
He has been a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Sloan School of Management and other North American universities, and also at the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai.
He has published widely and is the author with Pablo Maella of the recent book Iceberg a la vista: Principios para tomar decisiones sin hundirse (Iceberg in Sight: Principles on how to make decisions without sinking).
