Speakers
Dr Charlie O’Donnell is a consultant in emergency medicine and intensive care medicine at Barts Healthcare Trust, which operates 6 London hospitals, including St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of England, a Fellow of the College of Emergency Medicine (UK ), and a Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (UK ).
Dr John Monaghan is a consultant obstetrician at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1976, trained in Ireland, the UK and Nigeria, and has been practising obstetrics and gynaecology for over 30 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He was a member of the Irish Medical Council.
Dr Mike Delany is a senior GP in a busy group practice in Stevenage on the outskirts of London. After completing a diploma in medical ethics at Surrey University, he was later granted a master’s degree in medical ethics there.
Dr Sean Curran (chair of the workshop) is a consultant in radiology at St Colmcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown, Dublin. He was elected to the Irish Medical Council in 2013.
