12.15 pm Session 1: Preparing for the teen years: building and maintaining strong relationships with your pre-teens.
Vickie Teetor
This talk will help you as parents to be ready for the teen years and will give you an idea of what to expect.

13.30 pm Lunch
14.45 pm Session 2: Understanding the place of emotions, their expression and communication.
Dr Miriam Kennedy
This workshop will focus on the place of emotions within the family: their expression, role, personality interactions, communication and integration into a happy, safe, nurturing environment.

16.00 pm Session 3: iKids – is family life still possible?
Vickie Teetor
Helping your children develop good habits in family life.
17.00 pm Family forum
A group of parents will share their experience of participating in a Family Enrichment course.

17.30 pm Conclusion
*Mass will be celebrated at 11.00 am in Rosemont School for those who wish to attend.

Vickie Teetor was born in New York and graduated from Boston University with a BA in Art History. She taught at Marymount School in New York City. At present she teaches part-time at Montclar School in Igualada, Spain. She has extensive experience with the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) in researching, developing and implementing the IFFD courses in various countries. She works closely with her husband in IFFD in the areas of research and global training. She is the mother of 9 children.

Dr Miriam Kennedy is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist with extensive experience in Education. She has a special interest in the Physiology of Stress, and additionally is working on research into capacity to consent, and human rights. Her combination of scientific training, medical and psychological works bring to the workshop skills to enable each participant to leave with a new/renewed personal area of growth.
